BIOGRAPHY
Marty Seyler has been in Private Practice in Palm Beach County since 1999. In 2017, her office moved to 120 N Federal Hwy, Lake Worth in the PROMENADE Bldg where she also provides Clinical Supervision to a Program Serving Children and Families who are Non-Native English Speakers.
Education and Experience
Marty received a BA and MA in Psychology from the University of South Florida, and also completed additional graduate studies at the University of Iowa and
Florida Atlantic University. Marty has extensive background in Energy Psychology, Cognitive and Mult-imodal Behavior Therapy, Trauma Treatments, Child Development and Child Therapy, including Play Therapy and Infant Mental Health, and Parent Education.
Marty is Certified in EMDR Level II (2000).
Marty is a Certified Family Life Educator.
Marty is a Certified Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist
Marty completed a year long specialty training in Infant Mental Health (2002-2003).
Throughout her 40 plus year career, Marty has attended trainings and professional development seminars to expand and update her knowledge and skills. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Marty completes 30 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years.
Marty has worked with a wide range of social, emotional and behavioral issues. Marty now divides her time between her work in Florida and her Bali Healing Retreat in Bali Indonesia during the summers.
In addition to being a Psychotherapist for most of her career, Marty has been a a Peace Corps Volunteer working on a Mobile /Clinic for Children in Rural Jamaica, and an Infant Stimulation Specialist in a Cambodian Refugee Camp in Thailand, and a, College Psychology Instructor.
